Sanguli Salou | Travel Photography | Family Holiday 2014

Something completely different on my blog today, the real reason why I do what I do and the inspiration behind why I want to better myself.  I took a much needed break at the end of September, a chance to reflex, spend some time with my little family and consume wine daily without guilt.  I’m afraid far off, exotic holiday destinations like the Christmas's spent in South East Asia are on hold for the time being.  They have been replaced with minimum flight times to destinations that guarantee sun, parents to young, high maintenance children will understand why.  We opted for a Thomson Al Fresco break as meal times in restaurants don’t really work for us, I have terrible eating habits.  It was a really amazing few weeks, my son went from a crawler to a walker and my daughter swam for the first time, all be it with arm bands.  They change so much in such a short space of time so it was a privilege to witness.  For the togs reading, I use the Fuji X100S, an epic piece of kit that fits in my pocket allowing me to chase after unruly toddlers.
