Next up my blog is a lovely Ettington Park Hotel Wedding from late summer last year. I got to join a good friend Aaron Storry for what promised to be a truly special day as far as weddings go and oh boy did this not fail to live up to all the hype.
Firstly the venue, Ettington Park Hotel is absolutely stunning, with its neo-gothic turrets, colourful Cotswold stone brickwork and classic arched windows, it really is the perfect venue for that fairytale Stratford-Upon-Avon Wedding setting. Secondly we were lucky to hit the weather which meant we were treated to an outdoor wedding ceremony with the partially derelict Normal Chapel and its open air arches providing the most spectacular backdrop. And last but not least, have you ever wondered what pilots that meet, fall in love and get married do on their wedding day? Well, they bring their plane and invite their friends, who tend to own planes and helicopters – obviously.
What better ways to spend a beautiful summer afternoon in an amazing setting, drinking Pimms on the lawn, nibbling on canapés and bearing witness to a mini air show! As far as weddings go this had it all, follows are just some of my favourite moments…
